The idea was to create a car that would look like a 50 year old rally car and at the same time, bring back the history of Porsche 911 racing from the start of this Porsche icon to the road. A car that is not only carried out on a trailer on special occasions once or twice a year, but also to make people happy every day. The most difficult is the authentic patina because you cannot make it artificially! So we searched a long time for a suitable car, which corresponded to the exterior impression of an old, used rally car. As the car spent his life in California, the bodywork was still very healthy, so we only had to deal with a modern and reliable technique.

The car is now powered by a 2.7/6cyl. engine with approx. 210 hp. This last expansion phase has been finished in April 2018 by Matthias Höing WICKEDSIXES.COM. Of course, the chassis and brakes had to be designed for the stronger drive unit.  In addition, our 147 had a trailer coupling and two contemporary bucket seats in Pepita style.

This doesn’t sound so difficult but requires a lot of patience because a project like this is difficult to understand for many people, at least as long as it is still theory! In the summer of 2017 our 147 had then his comming out – Magnus Walker URBANOUTLAW.COM visited his friend Matthias Höing and together they drove our alternative “Herbert Linge tribute car” through Hamburg for 5 days. What can we say: people love it and that is what counts!
