A total of 1580 vehicles were produced from 1972 to 1973, but only 500 of them were used on designated areas with 0.8 mm thin sheet metal instead of 0.88 mm sheet metal for the required homologation. This strictly limited art edition pays homage to what is probably the most popular sports coupe ever – the Porsche 2.7 “Dünnblech”.  Of course, the pictures are produced in screen print just like their prototype on 0.8 mm thin sheet metal. In editions of 50 each, the artist picks up the bold color combinations that made the car so significant through the play of “Carrera” lettering and body color.
